Co-directors Jeremy Teicher ’10 (Tall as the Baobab Tree) and Alexi Pappas ’12 wowed the festival circuit with this “winning, winsome comedy” (Hollywood Reporter). Based on Pappas’ experience training to be an Olympic athlete, Tracktown is a story about what we’re all running to…and running from.

Plumb Marigold (Pappas) has lived her entire life surrounded by fans, coaches, teammates, nutritionists and journalists, all grooming her to one day earn a spot on the US Olympic running team. But after Plumb struggles in the qualifiers, her coach orders her to do the unthinkable: take a day off. Befriending a local boy at a bakery, Plumb desperately searches for a way to exist as both girl and athlete—with the Olympic Trials and her own happiness at stake.
