“MeToo: Intersectionality, Hashtag Activism & Our Lives” Reception

Feb 25, 4:30-6:30, Berry West

The exhibit features work drawn from F'18 WGSS20.02 group projects. Students designed and hosted four events on campus: “Global Iterations of #MeToo,” “#MeToo: Assessing the Impact,” “Gender Letter to Campus,” and “MeToo in Our Community: Gender-Based Violence on Campus.” Displays include artwork and poetry by Dartmouth student survivors, images and information about #MeToo around the world, visitors’ feedback from activity stations about gender at Dartmouth, and alumnae survivors’ stories. Additionally, a projects blog (that also includes outcomes from student teaching later in the term) will be available to explore. At the reception, students will talk briefly about their work, and we’ll host an open discussion. Donuts and hot cider served.

Sponsors: Leslie Center for the Humanities and OPAL/V-February (Dartmouth's yearly campaign to end gender-based violence and promote gender equity)
