After an epic standoff with her prim neighbor (Kristen Wiig) culminates in an actual landslide, Bernadette (Blanchett) is forced to reckon with the fact that she must find a creative outlet … or risk further destruction. Bernadette's leap of faith takes her on an adventure that jump-starts her life and leads to her triumphant rediscovery.

With great supporting turns by Billy Crudup and Laurence Fishburn, Richard Linklater's (Boyhood) inventive adaptation brings out the absurdist humor, mystery and sense of bubbling possibility that made this story of a woman rediscovering herself so beloved.
