Guarini Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellow in Asian American Studies

Anna M. Moncada Storti is the Guarini Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellow in Asian American Studies with an appointment in the Program of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Dartmouth College. Her research interests span queer of color critique, women of color feminisms, and the colonial present. Currently at work on her first book manuscript, Storti engages minoritarian aesthetic practices as critical tools to track the evolving relationship between racial fetish, mixed race subjects, and the long imperial history of US intervention in the transpacific. In Fall 2020, she will be teaching WGSS 40.06 “Race & Memory: Feminist and Queer Performance Against Disavowal.” Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Women & Performance: a journal of feminist theory, Frontiers: A Journal of Women Studies, QED: A Journal in GLBTQ Worldmaking, the MLA’s Digital Pedagogy in the Humanities, and elsewhere. Storti holds a PhD in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park.
