  • As of July 1, 2015, the Women's and Gender Studies Program has changed its name to Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

    This change does not reflect a change in direction for the program. Rather, it offers a more accurate reflection of the work and the curriculum of the program. Sexuality and LGBTQ studies—the study of sexual identities, discourses, and institutions—has already had a home in WGST since 1996.
