Esther M. Rosario is Lecturer in Philosophy. She specializes in philosophy of biology, philosophy of gender and race, and philosophy of science. Her current research focuses on the metaphysics of sex and conceptual engineering. She argues that sex is a biosocial kind and engineers a new sex concept for epistemic and social aims. She is an award-winning instructor who takes great pleasure in working with students as they harness philosophical tools for critical thinking and critical engagement.
