Join us to hear about Prof. Nikpour's new book on the Iranian prison system.
In The Incarcerated Modern: Prisons and Public Life in Iran, Dr. Golnar Nikpour (Assistant Professor of History) traces the transformation of Iran from a decentralized empire with few imprisoned persons at the turn of the twentieth century into a modern nation-state with over a quarter million prisoners today.
Join Dartmouth Libraries for a lunchtime talk with Professor Nikpour about The Incarcerated Modern and her research.
